Our TRC Robotics team is student led with adult mentor support and follows the business model. This model has proved exceptionally efficient, allowing for well-organized communication and clarity among officers and mentors. With the Executives managing most external affairs and Heads managing most internal affairs, TRC is able to stay a balanced, organized, and well-run club.

Heads 2024-25

Noah Fang - Mechanical

In charge of building the physical robot. Responsible for leading the team through brainstorming, prototyping and creating the robot; role may include designing the robot with Computer Aided Design. Head is responsible for planning build meetings in the shop and testing on the practice field.

Anand Krishnan - Programming

In charge of programming the robot. Head is responsible for planning programming meetings and intensive testing sessions with the robot, and for delegating code to individuals and managing the versions of the code. During competition, Head is in charge of managing problems with code.

Iris Zuo - Media

In charge of coordinating media and media meetings for the club. The Media Head manages the social media pages and website, takes pictures and videos for the team, and makes use of media. They are in charge of completing t-shirts, buttons, banners, and any media related to marketing the team.

Grace Zeng - Outreach

In charge of overseeing and planning outreach events. The Outreach Head student is also in charge of the outreach team and acts as an ambassador to the Bellevue Alliance. The Outreach Head, similar to the Media Head, is responsible for maintaining TRC’s presence in the STEM community.

Sophie Zhang

- Strategy

In charge of team strategy and team’s drivers. Initially will help the team assess and decide on strategy. Head is then responsible for choosing and training the team’s robot drivers and human player(s). They are responsible for coordinating scouting preparation and competition scouting.

Samhitha Gowda - Business

In charge of organizing fundraisers and overseeing the business team. The Business Head ensures that TRC maintains communication with its donors. The Business Head works closely with the CFO in tracking donations and fundraising expenses.

Alex Birch - Awards

The Awards Head is responsible for coordinating the completion of awards with the TRC subteams. They should lead the team for the year in its final goal of the FIRST Impact Award. FIRST Impact Award objectives will be set by the Executive Board for the year.

Aiden Rothstein - Safety

In charge of overseeing and updating new and existing safety protocols present in TRC. The Safety Captain is elected in the fall to oversee safety training during fall training. They are responsible for presenting to Safety Judges and creating the Safety Notebook.

Aiden Mio - Logistics

The project manager of the entire build season. In charge of the overall calendar and timeline, student attendance, and communication to the team. They also help organize adult volunteers, carpools, public relations, and award submissions.
